Alison Knowles took Bronze in Bled as part of the GB women's 8+ after a thrilling final which saw her and fellow crewmates Jo Cook, Jess Eddie, Lindsey Maguire, Natasha Page, Louisa Reeve, Katie Solesbury and Vicky Thornley coxed by Caroline O'Connor, take the Dutch and the Romanians in the final 500m of the race.  They have now qualified the women's 8+ for next year's Olympic Games in London.
