Henley Women's Regatta

Baz Moffat, rowing in a composite Elite eight, was TRC's sole win at a regatta which nevertheless showed signs of great future promise.

Six crews reached semi-finals only to all be knocked out at that stage: the elite coxless pair, elite coxed four, senior single (Harriet Townsend), senior quad, senior eight and intermediate eight.

This was the most balanced set of results by Thames in a number of years, with strong performances at all levels.  Most impressive was the intermediate eight, which included four girls who only took up rowing in October 2007 but nevertheless beat crews from Bedford, Birmingham University and Reading to reach the last four.
