Big haul at Scullers Head Ths 2007 Scullers Head was conducted in tricky conditions, as a brisk wind whipped up swell for much of the course. But it was an excellent race for Thames with three pennant wins and two second places.
Iain Pritchard won Veteran D, well-deserved after a hard autumn of training and racing. Helen Ratcliff won Novice Women comfortably for a great confidence boost ahead of GB trials. Fourteen seconds behind Helen, Carlyn Greenhalgh won Senior 4 Women. Harriet Townsend and Sophie Theodorou took second place in Senior 4 Women and Novice Women respectively.
There were also strong performances by Hal Bradbury, Neil Grennan-Heaven and Charlie Fisher. |
