Wednesday 29 July saw TRC gather for the Captain's Meeting.

Perhaps of most interest to members and prospective members was that the Committee's proposal for subscriptions was adopted unanimously.  As such, apart from minor tweaks, the subs remain unchanged for the third year in succession.  In detail:

• The Entrance Fee has been reduced to £50 for all membership categories.
• Temporary membership has been reduced to £50 per month.
• All subscription fees except Junior remain unchanged.
• Junior membership has a small increase from £175 to £200.  However, at the same time the separate junior coaching fees have been eliminated, meaning that the total costs of junior membership are reduced.
• A special rate of £40 has been introduced for lapsed members rejoining as House, Country and Overseas members in the 150th anniversary year.

The Captain, Will Pressley, was re-elected unopposed as were his Deputy Captains, Hugh Corroon, Stephen Dooley, Neil Grennan-Heaven and Antonia Waite.

Alan Hawes stepped down after 15 years as Honorary Secretary (Rowing).  His successor, Annie Christiansen, was elected unopposed.

And finally, the Club appointed eight additional Vice Presidents:
