The Lester 4- produced an outstanding performance winning both senior & elite and in the process beating a Star & Arrow (Leander) 4x.  Their nearest rivals, Upper Thames, were 16 seconds off the pace.  The men's elite 4+ stroked by new recruitment Ben McSweeney and backed up by his ex-pink clubmate James Padmore produced a powerful performance supported by the dynamic powerful duo of Ben Stokes & Harry Kelly.  Coxed oustandingly by Tom Kaplan the crew powered its way to victory by 19 seconds over their Henley rivals.

The women's elite 4+ of Helen Austin, Emma Windham, Barbara O'Brien, Sophie Slaney & Emma Searle were equally impressive with a thunderous performance in striding to a commanding victory in women's elite 4+ and senior 4+ beating all but one women's 4x and all of the women's 4-. 

Other victories came in the women's IM1 4- of Kerryn Minehan, Sarah Jones, Diana Egerton-Warbuton and Jess Chichester and women's elite 4-. 

There were also good performance by both the men's and women's intermediate crews beating some of their senior squad mates which bodes well for competitive racing at the Fours Head next weekend.
