Trio of Remenham pennants

It was a blustery day on the Tideway as the Remenham clubs gathered for the annual Remenham Challenge.

Thames won three of the events on offer: Open Championship, Open Intermediate, and Women's Championship.

Our 1st 8s were second to Molesey in both the Open and Women's Elite events, with the men's 2nd 8 finishing third overall just ahead of Molesey's 2nd 8.

The women's 4th and 5th 8s were second and third respectively behind Vesta's 2nd 8 in Women's Intermediate despite a couple of technical issues down the course.

Both the masters crews finished second in the masters categories, with the men putting in a strong row behind Molesey's 'Leg-ends' and the women solid behind Kingston.

All in all, a decent end to a busy weekend but results providing plenty of motivation to keep putting in the work before the New Year.
