Sadly the Head of the River Race 2017 was cancelled, but Vets Head the next day went ahead on a flood tide and was successful for Thames.

A masters A crew including a number of our recent HRR winners were fastest overall. The women’s masters A novice crew also won their pennant, beating all the men's novice crews in the process. Meanwhile Pauline's masters F composite chalked up another victory.

The other men's A crew were 23rd overall and 6th in their category, while the E boats were 53rd overall and 10th in their category and 101st and 24th. The women’s masters B crew finished 3rd in their group and 114th overall.
