Medals at U23 World Rowing Championships

Two Thames athletes raced in Plovdiv at the 2023 Under-23 World Rowing Championships, and both came home with medals.

Felix Rawlinson is studying at Dartmouth and claimed gold in the M8+ in a thrilling race that saw a charge from the GB crew into the second half to take the lead. In Felix’s gap year at Thames he won the 2021 Wyfold Challenge Cup.

Caspar Griffin is studying at Stanford University and raced in the M4+ claiming a silver medal in another exciting race, rowing through the Kiwis in the second 500m.

Thames is always keen to hear from athletes studying in the US and looking for a home club in the UK, or from those who are planning to go to university in the US - email memsec@thamesrc.co.uk for more information.
